- Summer Months (April – September): Morning Aarti takes place between 05:00 AM and 05:45 AM. Evening Aarti commences between 06:30 PM and 07:15 PM.
- Winter Months (October – March): Morning Aarti takes place between 06:00 AM and 06:45 AM. Evening Aarti commences between 05:30 PM and 06:15 PM.

The stepped amphitheatres fill up rapidly. Devotees seeking an uninterrupted view should consider:
- Malviya Dweep (Clock Tower Island): Directly across the canal facing the main Aarti platforms. Offers the widest panoramic angle for photography and unobstructed views of the priests.
- Birla Ghat Steps: Slightly elevated, ideal for senior citizens wishing to sit comfortably away from dense crowds.
- Arrival Window: Instruct your guests to arrive at the ghat at least 60 to 75 minutes prior to Aarti time to secure prime seated spots.
Dos and Don'ts at Har Ki Pauri
- Footwear: Footwear must be removed before entering the paved ghat perimeter. Free municipal shoe counters are located at the bridge approaches.
- River Currents: River currents at Brahma Kund are deceptively fast. Devotees taking a holy dip should always hold firmly onto the stainless steel safety chains provided.
